What is DX?

DX which stands for “Digital Transformation” is the process of using digital technology for business processes, organizational culture, and customer experiences.

There are many benefits in incorporating this process and listed below are some examples in getting to know DX :

1. Saving Time

Tasks such as creating a reports, mail based process management, writing signatures, and other manual work can be automated by digital tools, thus making the workflow more efficient. This allows for other tasks to be accomplished with the time saved.

2. Avoid a human error

Manual work leaves room for human error and it will be a significant setback to resolve and rework around the issue.

Digitalization and reviewing a business process could reduce cost and minimize human error.

3. Centralized platform

A struggle of a company that uses several applications for different areas may feel inconvenienced by additional work, such as modifying a data or report format, to have a consistency between systems. Having a centralized platform will improve the situation since it is the sole platform where everyone would work on. This however calls for an independent application design for system integration to allow for each system to communicate with each other,

4. Marketing

Storing a data and analyzing it would contribute your business. You may have any indicator like KPI, KGI etc.. to see the performance of your business, it could be used for business automation by setting them up and relating to corresponding actions especially for improving a customer satisfaction.

Where should we start?

DX allows for an opportunity to reduce work time and increase workflow and efficiency by having a structured process that fulfills routine work.

In the system perspective, most applications can be integrated together, but system design should be well-considered and it will take a significant amount of time to build such system. You may ask the IT department in your company, or a vendor for a consultation.
